Devcom 2021

Keywords Studios will be attending devcom 2021 this August and we’d love to connect with you there.

Established in 2017, devcom is the official game developer event of gamescom, one of the the world’s largest computer and video games events, and one of Europe’s annual marquee developer conferences. 

It is not only a place for sharing knowledge and conducting business, but also a hub for the global game dev community to come together.

Let's talk at devcom 2021

From August 23rd – 27th, we will have a virtual booth at devcom 2021 where our team will be available to answer questions on how we can support you at each stage of your game’s development life cycle.

Monday, 23rd August

3pm CET - Agnes Kas, Jasmine Christmas, and Samantha Thompson from Spov, a Keyword Studio, will delve into Cinematic Storytelling: Using Historical Fact and Historical Fiction.

8pm CET - Rhys Lloyd, General Manager at Descriptive Video Works, a Keywords Studio, will talk The Heavy Stone Door Opens: How Audio Description in Games can Improve Immersion and Accessibility.

Tuesday, 24th August

1.30pm CET - James Gallagher, Senior Social Media Manager at Keywords Studios, will take you through How to Get Serious About Player Feedback.

3pm CET - Sonia Sedler, COO of Keywords addresses the very real problem of employee engagement and retention that has been one of the unexpected side-effects of the pandemic in her talk It's Not Me, It's You.

Sonia will discuss the likely drivers for the Great Resignation and will offer her insights into how you can create a compelling employee experience by embracing inclusion, supporting well-being and accommodating lifestyle choices, to build a more resilient, empowered and motivated workforce.
