We are growing rapidly and have studios in India (in Gurgaon, Bangalore and Pune) as well as teams in the US, UK, Japan, and the Philippines.

Our studio works on multiple exciting projects at any one time offering plenty of variety and involvement. We have worked on some of the biggest and most exciting IP’s in the games industry, including Diablo Resurrected, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Halo Infinite, Returnal, Forza Horizon 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Borderlands 3, FIFA Online 4, PUGB: New State, Sea of Thieves, Amazon: New World, Dauntless, State of Decay 2, Middle Earth: Shadow of War, just to name a few.

Our successful studio is continuing to grow and we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (North America) to join the expanding Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the studio’s business development within North America, and supporting the leadership team with new project acquisitions. You will take a lead role in driving the growth and expansion of the studio’s presence in the games industry and be focused on establishing and nurturing relationships with key client partners (new and existing). Additionally, you will proactively introduce and assist in identifying new business opportunities whilst driving revenue growth through effective business development strategies.

This position is offered on a fully remote basis.

Some of the cool stuff you’ll be doing:

  • Identify, evaluate, and help secure new potential business opportunities in the games industry with the intent to increase Lakshya's existing client pool, ideally leveraging your existing network
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for expansion
  • Interface closely with Keywords global business development team.
  • Keep tabs on new studios in the industry and identify appropriate stakeholders to connect with and establish long-term strategic partnerships
  • Drive the sales and revenue success of Lakshya within the North American market
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the games industry, including game developers, publishers, platform holders, and technology partners.
  • Work closely with the India BD leadership team to ensure that there is smooth coordination between the Global Lakshya Business Development initiatives/activities
  • To represent Lakshya and Keywords Studios Group as a Brand Ambassador at all times

Experience & Requirements

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Outstanding organizational skills, ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • An extensive understanding of the video game market, including knowledge of industry trends, key players, and emerging technologies
  • Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with client partners and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with partners and attend industry events. Occasional travel to the Indian head office would also be required.
  • A passion for games and game development
  • Game industry experience and network is preferred
  • Must understand Lakshya's core competencies, USPs, and differentiators to successfully pitch the company to clients
  • Must be open to travel within North America to meet with clients. Travel to India once in a while is ideal
