Keywords and Women in Games Renew Partnership

Date Published: 11/01/2024

2024 marks the third year of our partnership with Women in Games as sponsor of the Individual Ambassador programme. At the heart of the Keywords Studios and Women in Games (WiG) partnership is the shared aim of helping shape the games industry by tackling gender inequality and addressing underrepresentation.

We are delighted to continue to collaborate on this important work, helping the Individual Ambassador community which is now over 1,700-strong globally. In 2023, Keywords supported Women in Games across a number of events, including the WiG Individual Ambassador event and the WiG Annual Conference. These events offer opportunities for development, knowledge exchange, and networking - enhancing Ambassadors’ abilities to make change in their organisations and in the industry.

Athena-Maria Enderstein, Group Head of DEI&B, Keywords Studios:

“Across Keywords regions and studios, we are proud of our partnership with Women in Games. By continuing this valuable collaboration in 2024 we can further our goal of increasing representation and inclusion in games. It allows us to support Ambassadors in their development and equip them with tools to shape the industry for gender equity.”

Marie-Claire Isaaman, CEO, Women in Games:

“We are delighted to renew our partnership with Keywords Studios, which will be powering our Individual Ambassador programme for a third year.

“The team at Keywords Studios shares our goals of igniting change in the industry – tackling gender inequality and addressing the under-representation of women in the sector. The Individual Ambassador programme lies at the heart of our work, with the 1,700+ women and allies in 72 countries around the world supporting our values and missions. The support of Keywords Studios has allowed Women in Games to fast-track the expansion of this programme; the number of Individual Ambassadors has grown from just under 1,000 last December to over 1,700 today. And that figure is likely to surpass 2,000 in the first half of 2024.

We thank Keywords Studios for their support and look forward to what we can achieve in 2024.”
