Inclusive Keywords Studios

Over the past year we have been expanding our awareness and support for neurodiversity at Keywords. On a group level we have participated in industry events, hosted several inclusion calendar learning opportunities, and we have built a thriving neurodiversity network – Brain Space. On a local studio level Keywords Australia has partnered with Uptimize, a neuroinclusion consultancy, to understand the prevalence of neurodivergence in their studio and how to better support their colleagues. Through their pulse survey they found that 74% of staff are familiar with neurodiversity, this is a very positive 30% more than the Uptimize recorded benchmark, and that 47% of Keywords Australia colleagues are neurodivergent. Physical discomfort is significantly higher among neurodivergent staff. Keywords Australia have since added quiet rooms to new studios and incorporated neuroinclusivity principles in planning new studio builds, such as considering noise dampening and natural light.

At the Manila Studio, Women’s Month 2026 became an opportunity to celebrate empowerment, inclusion, and community through meaningful initiatives that brought employees together both inside and outside the workplace.

Guided by the theme “Empowering Voices, Inspiring Action, and Strengthening Community,” the Diversity and Engagement Committee organized a series of activities that highlighted women’s voices, encouraged participation, and created safe spaces for connection and self-expression.

One of the key highlights was the Athena Cup: Mobile Legends Tournament, which celebrated women in gaming while fostering camaraderie and friendly competition among employees. The initiative also featured employee spotlight stories that showcased the experiences and passion of women gamers within the studio.

Beyond gaming and engagement activities, the Manila Studio extended its impact through a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative with CRIBS Foundation, supporting young girls under the organization’s New Beginnings Program. Volunteers spent time with the community, reinforcing the studio’s commitment to inclusion, empathy, and meaningful social impact.

Through tournaments, raffles, employee storytelling, learning opportunities, and volunteerism, the Women’s Month campaign reflected the studio’s ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging—creating spaces where employees feel empowered, supported, and celebrated.

These initiatives continue to strengthen the Manila Studio’s culture of allyship, collaboration, and community, both within Keywords Studios and beyond.
