Keywords Studios wins ‘Company of the Year’ at Technology Industry Awards

Keywords Studios, the global technical and creative services provider to the video games industry, has won both ‘Technology Company of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding Achievement in International Growth’ at prestigious Technology Ireland Industry Awards 2019.

The Technology Ireland Industry Awards recognise the best and brightest of the country’s technology companies. Now in its 27th year, the awards recognise and celebrate those companies who have achieved exceptional success and developed innovative digital technologies.

Keywords Studios was honoured with both prizes at a ceremony in Dublin, Ireland on November 22.

For the ‘Technology Company of the Year Award’ win, Keywords was recognised for the likes of ASAnalyzer, a ground-breaking cloud-based tool which transforms the detection of potential GDPR issues in mobile game apps from many hours to a matter of only minutes, as well as Yokozuna Data, which is at the forefront of predictive analytics, and uniquely allows tailored consumer offers by accurately predicting individual future player behaviour.

Presenting the Technology Company of the Year award, Technology Ireland director Una Fitzpatrick said: “Keywords Studios was a single-site, single-service operation in Dublin 10 years ago and is now the market leader in video games services.

“From 50 people in Dublin in 2009 to employing more than 7,500 staff globally today, it’s a business that truly encompasses what it means to be the Technology Ireland Company of the Year.”

Meanwhile, Keywords Studios was named ‘Company of the Year’ at the recent Sandyford Business District Awards.

Sandyford is home to Keywords Studios in Dublin, Ireland and Conor Battigan, Chief Executive of the Sandyford Business District, said: “Keywords Studios are well deserved winners, not just for achieving outstanding business success this year, but also for their commitment and dedication to the employees and the wider business community here in Sandyford.”

Andrew was nominated in the international category, which was ultimately won by Richard Kennedy of Belfast-based agritech business Devenish.
