Test Technician 4

Pay rate: $20.00 an hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Test Technician to support client-focused innovation projects within our Future Customer Experiences group. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured lab environment, enjoys troubleshooting systems, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality test results.
As a Test Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring systems are properly configured, validated, documented, and ready for deployment.

What You’ll Do:
Lab and System Support
● Maintain and configure lab systems, including equipment setup, system moves, wiring, and basic network maintenance
● Support and maintain System Integration Testing isolated R&D test networks
● Maintain test endpoints and update firmware, drivers, and software in designated databases and systems
● Ensure lab cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness
Testing and Validation
● Perform structured testing on videoconferencing solutions and related customer experience technologies
● Execute IPC-A-6x0 evaluations as required
● Run subsystem qualifications according to defined processes
● Validate system performance following testing
● Ensure correct configurations are used for each test cycle
● Confirm accurate PASS/FAIL results with strong attention to detail
● Perform first-level triage and basic troubleshooting on failures
Documentation and Reporting
● Maintain and update the Results repository with accurate and timely data
● Document test results, prepare reports, and provide clear feedback on product issues
● Enter defects into bug tracking systems such as Sudden Impact or Jira
● Support and maintain automated test setups as formally requested
● Ensure all documentation reflects correct configurations and validated outcomes

Experience & Requirements

Experience working in a lab or system integration testing environment
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, and Word
