Job Summary
The Senior Production Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing Globalize Localization growth strategy operational delivery, leveraging the full suite of KWS project management tools. They will report to the Portfolio Director and be responsible for a book of business encompassing either one or multiple strategic accounts, working closely with the different Production Management peers and other support functions to implement and deliver the plans for their account(s).
Responsibilities
- Partner with Portfolio Directors & Senior Production Manager peers & Globalize Key Account Director to develop strategy & plans to increase/maintain profitability and operational footprint
- Have sole responsibility for managing a global client footprint & programme, proposing and driving actions to improve revenue and/or profitability
- Together with Portfolio Directors and Senior Workflow Optimization Manager, develop and implement long-term localization strategies aligned with the company's global goals
- Participate in high-level decision-making processes and provide insights on how localization can support business expansion and market penetration
- Deep understanding of performance metrics and how to move the needle, with demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills ▪ Managing strategic and more complex clients and budgets, including forecasting and financial planning for localization initiatives
- Making higher-level financial decisions to allocate resources effectively across multiple projects and regions
- Leading initiatives to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of localization efforts
- Handling complex issues and crises that arise during localization projects, including major quality problems, vendor failures, and unexpected market changes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned accounts, escalating to the Portfolio Director as needed
- Perform workflow design and onboarding for Localization services and technology implementations.
- Oversee production of Localization projects to ensure that timelines are met
- Ensure a standard of consistency, accuracy, and excellence across all localized deliverables
- Help team members navigate project ambiguities and problem solve
- Coach and mentor team members, drive a continuous growth mindset
- Plan, in cooperation with HR, growth paths for their team members and provides them with feedback and regular performance assessments
- Create and share production reports
- Cooperate with Solutions Team & Globalize Account Director to quote for key projects and efforts
- Cooperate with Finance and other support structures to share production data and forecasts
- Perform other special projects or duties when required
- Drive the adoption of new localization technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and quality
- Lead efforts to achieve Project Manager standardization across the different locations
- Right size the team according to the account and business requirements
- Ensure that all client documentation is fully up to date and easily accessible
- Implement and maintain KPI reporting across their work, both client facing as well as internal
- Attend QBR, MBR, any account meetings as needed

Experience & Requirements
- Strong customer-centric focus.

- Demonstrated solid experience of delivering standard work processes as well as tactical/operational expertise.
- Development of business processes (recommendations, procedural documents), detailed project plans and status reporting mechanisms.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business, including senior leaders and executives.
- Initiative and responsibility: willingness to act proactively by identifying opportunities and anticipate changes/knowing when to escalate correctly.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to create good and strong relationships with different kinds of local and international stakeholders.
- Has the ability to work under pressure and according to tight timelines.
- Skills in data, metrics and managing performance delivery.
- A high degree of cultural sensitivity demonstrated ability to work effectively with multi-cultural and business teams, preferably within a large global business.
- 6- 8 years of previous experience gained in Audio, Text, LQA or FQA, preferably in a multinational context.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (e.g. in Business Administration, Translation, or related field)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
