Keywords Continues Partnership with Women in Games
Keywords Studios, the international technical and creative services provider to the global video games industry, has entered into a second year of partnership with Women in Games, as sponsor of the Individual Ambassadors Programme. The renewed agreement supports Keywords’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) focus as the company continues to partner with those striving for better outcomes for women in today’s video games industry. The Individual Ambassadors Programme is designed to connect and empower people to activate change in the video games industry, which ties in closely with Keywords’ mission to build a more diverse, inclusive and welcoming environment for all video games professionals.
Founded in 2009, Women in Games is a global not-for-profit organisation which aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) and is primarily focused on Goal 5: ‘Achieve Gender Equality & Empower all Girls and Women’. Its purpose is to advance a fair, equal and safe environment that empowers girls and women in the global gaming ecosystem with the aim of shaping the future of games and the creative industries. Women in Games has positively impacted on the number of women in the games industry workforce since its inception.
