English Game Localization Testers (short-term contract)

Job Description:
- Verify the linguistic accuracy and quality of in-game English text while playing video games.
- Identify and report linguistic bugs (such as grammatical errors or unnatural expressions) using our bug tracking system.
- Execute re-tests on fixes to ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Provide feedback to improve game quality and user experience.
Condition:
- Employment Type: Monthly, project-based contract
- Hourly Wage: Starting from ¥1,300
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (includes a 1-hour lunch break) *Some projects may offer flexible working hour
- Workplace: In-office, Suginami-ku, Tokyo

Experience & Requirements
- Native-level fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Deep understanding of local cultural and linguistic nuances (e.g., slang, tone, context) for English-speaking markets.
- Must currently reside in the Tokyo area and be able to work on-site at the office.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Japan. (Tourist visas will not be considered, and we will not sponsor any types of visas.)
- Basic working proficiency with standard PC software.
- Comfortable and effective working in a multicultural team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate in English or Japanese
- Prior professional experience in LQA or game testing.
- Familiarity with industry-standard bug tracking tools.
- Professional experience within the gaming industry.
