Keywords Studios Pay it Forward

Keywords Studios Dublin is delighted to sponsor the Computer Science Sparks at Inspirefest 2018. By taking part in Pay it Forward at Inspirefest we are giving 10 young people, who would otherwise not have been fortunate enough to attend Inspirefest, the opportunity to be there and experience such an innovative event. By bringing these students, we hope to excite and inspire them to see pathways into STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) for themselves, and change their representation in these industries for the future. Inspirefest is a truly unique international festival of technology, science, design and the arts, which places diversity and inclusion at its heart. It is taking place in Dublin on 21-22 June 2018. CS Sparks is an initiative which will bring girls in Transition Year from DEIS schools in South Dublin into the School of Computer Science in UCD to participate in coding in a fun and exciting way which will also highlight Computer Science as a career with diverse applications and a broad potential for positive societal impact. Our aim is for the participants to consider studying CS at third level which we believe will provide exciting and rewarding career opportunities.
