Liquid Violet requires a friendly and flexible studio-based individual to support the Head of Studio and the wider in house and remote production team on a variety of tasks. Please note, this role is not remote – it requires you to be in our lovely Covent Garden studio five days a week.

The Studio Coordinator oils the cogs of the facility ensuring things run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. They are the face of our studio, naturally proactive to needs of talent, clients, and staff allowing them to do their jobs more efficiently.

Due to the size of Liquid Violet and the sectors we work in, the Studio Coordinator will be exposed to a wide variety of people and confidential, high-profile projects, and will be expected to take on a range of responsibilities. Front of house experience, exemplary communication, and organisational skills are key. A background in production or post-production is a bonus, as is a passion for Social Media, and this role would suit someone with office management/facilities or EA/PA experience looking for a new challenge.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the studios, meeting and greeting actors and clients, and keeping the day-to-day aspects of studio recording and the production office running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Head of Studio with special projects
  • Managing an allocated OpEx budget
  • Assisting the Head of Studio with marketing initiatives, updating website and social media accounts
  • Dealing with buildings management, security, maintenance, and other suppliers
  • Keeping health and safety policies up to date and organising training
  • Organising social events
  • Booking travel
  • Dealing with expenses
  • Ensuring actors sign contracts and NDAs on arrivals when necessary.
  • Distributing scripts, character bios, and audition “sides” and (crucially) safely disposing of all confidential documents after sessions or storing securely for subsequent recordings.
  • Booking runners and freelancers as necessary to cover evening/out of hours shifts
  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the studio
  • Offering teas and coffees
  • Keeping the kitchen full stocked with food and beverages
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Ordering couriers, cabs etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Covid-19 protocols.
  • Experience with bookings and production management systems (preferably Farmer’s Wife of similar)
  • Experience as an EA/PA or managing a facility or office
  • Experience managing expenses and budgets
  • Calm under pressure – good at juggling shifting priorities
  • Familiar with GDPR legislation
  • Discreet and professional
  • Knowledge of the games industry, as well as film and TV production.
  • Some experience of audio production/post production.
  • Interest in casting/actors and a passion for entertainment in all its forms.

A regular week is Monday – Friday 9.00-5.30. However, early starts and some evening work are sometimes necessary. Hours may vary daily based on recording schedules. This role is based in Covent Garden, London.
