Job Summary

SPOV are looking for a highly organised and dedicated Producer to join our growing team. Working with some of the most talented artists in the industry, you will be supporting them by managing the variety of projects SPOV undertakes to ensure that they have everything they need to deliver to the highest standard. We’re looking for someone who can manage teams and clients with ease across multiple projects, with the ability to meet deadlines, manage budgets and write emails so effectively that they’re worthy of publication in “Best Ever Emails” magazine.

Key Responsibilities and Activities
  • Briefing the team, assigning tasks and managing Artists’ time
  • Budget management, costing projects and providing financial reports
  • Scheduling projects and building pipelines
  • Assist with finding suitable team members e.g. artists, additional production staff, crew
  • Acting as the glue between the production team, director and the client
  • Technical ability with Adobe suite, 3D pipelines and/or Real Time software a bonus
  • General knowledge of IT and ability to communicate issues with IT team
  • Managing the client and their expectations for a project
  • File management, software management and asset wrangling
  • Working to deadlines and ensuring projects are delivered as expected
  • Tracking tasks and project progress using production software and/or Microsoft software


Technical skills

  • At least 3 – 4 years’ experience as a producer or similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient written, verbal communication and people skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Technical understanding of software and creative processes necessary to deliver a project
  • An ability to negotiate effectively and sensitively on matters of money, time and expectations with the best possible outcomes for the project and the business in mind
  • Strong project management, planning, decision making and negotiating skills
  • Balancing our clients’ needs/demands with our collective ambition to produce outstanding creative work that enhances our reputation and sustain the business

Behavioural skills

  • Must be cool under pressure and have the ability to juggle multiple projects and/or tasks
  • A passion and understanding of the game industry and different design disciplines
  • Naturally organised, methodical, clear and detailed. Attention to detail in creation and presentation of all project documentation
  • Be willing to receive and seek out feedback in order to improve performance
  • The ability to be flexible should unforeseen circumstances arise and the skill to navigate them with the best interests of both the team and the client in mind
  • A genuinely pro-active nature, seeing potential issues and providing practical solutions before problems arise
  • Being great with people - clients and colleagues alike; building lasting and rewarding relationships
