Each year, we produce over 80,000 art assets, 21 million words of audio, 250 million words translated, 2.5 million hours of testing and resolve 16 million customer support tickets

Our office in Katowice has experienced a great growth since we opened last year and we are currently we are looking for an experienced Studio Manager that is responsible for planning and executing development and further growth for the Studio.

Main responsibilities will be the following:

  • Develop the strategy and implement plans and actions to meet long and short term company objectives in relation to the Studio
  • Effective supervision of Studio activities (administration processes, document flow, communication, facility management, contractors’ management, staff accommodation, cost control and forecasting etc.) making sure they produce target results in a way consistent with Keywords Studios values, strategy and vision
  • Build strong relations between Studio and company management, KWS management team, such as service line directors/managers as well as third parties involved in Studio day-to-day operations (i.e. contractors, suppliers)
  • Use own expertise as well as industry/market/business knowledge to ensure Studio and company continuous growth and profitability – propose, enable and implement solutions and process improvements
  • Ensure direct reports and all Studio employees follow local procedures and company guidelines and policies to guarantee compliance with local, legal requirements and company’s business ethics & values
  • Serve as official company representative in relations with external parties (suppliers, contractors etc.). ensuring effective cooperation - negotiating contract conditions, signing contracts and relevant documentation on behalf of the company
  • Controlling studio costs and making sure Studio expenses are within budget cooperating with Finance department
  • Take responsibility for the Studio annual P&L budget, detailed reporting and analyses relating to both revenue, costs, studio performance and agreed KPIs to help make key business decisions and drive process/reporting improvements
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting for the studio in cooperation with the board, management and finance
  • Ensure Studio facilities & resources are optimal and in line with business/project requirements - supervise and manage all resources: office space, office equipment, hardware, software etc.
  • Supervise and manage studio staff accommodation, making sure it is effective and managed appropriately to meet project requirements
  • Co-ordinate/lead the security & data protection projects, mitigating risks and addressing problem areas in cooperation with other departments;
  • Support client audits and other to make sure that the Studio is compliant with local regulations and client requirements;
  • Ensure the Studio meets EHS and fire protection standards – cooperating with EHS & Fire Protection Specialist and HR department
  • Supervising work of Office Administrator and Receptionist to ensure all Studio goals are met/exceeded
  • Ensure effective communication within the Studio, as well as other Keywords legal entities and third parties
  • Ensure all employees at the Studio have personal/professional life balance, partner with other departments i.e. HR, finance, recruitment, administration to ensure employees wellbeing & comfortable working conditions (implement projects such as benefit programs, wellbeing initiatives, company events, EB activities)
  • Co-ordinate / lead Studio management meetings and ensure smooth communication across Katowice departments and other locations, organise and host management meetings both on local and regional level
  • Drive cross department initiatives and projects for the Studio

Requirements

  • Fluency in both Polish and English
  • Degree in Business/Economics/Finance/IT/Project Management;
  • 3-5 years of relevant office management experience within a professional/corporate environment;
  • Strong knowledge of Polish legal regulations, especially related to company operations in Poland
  • Result focus with project management experience;
  • Strong organizational skills & ability to work well under pressure;
  • Pro-activeness and team leadership/building skills
  • Experience in leading and managing people;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Excellent level of customer service skills, willingness to take ownership to drive the changes;
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and high level of computer literacy is essential;
