PLAYER SUPPORT BILLING/MERCH SPECIALIST - Contracted Employee for 40 hours a week - $17.00 an hour

Under Riot supervision, Keywords Studios manages the North American Player Support operations out of our Redmond, WA office. We are looking for dedicated, intelligent, passionate, and hardworking video game enthusiasts to join our team as Player Support Accounts/Billing/Merch Specialists. Qualified candidates love video games and are driven to provide the best support for our players in North America. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a creative problem solver to show his/her potential and level up in the Customer Service industry.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Respond and address Player problems through tickets and chat support channels
  • Support and engage players in a high quality, fun and empathetic 1:1 discussion
  • Keeping current and up to date with existing League of Legends promotions
  • Investigate reports of unauthorized transactions and refunding fraudulent purchases
  • Able to answer questions, process purchases, and handle returns through the Riot Merch website
  • Educate players on how to keep their League of Legends account secure
  • Comfortable making judgement calls on who is the original creator of the account
  • Able to deep dive into a single account to repair any damages done during compromise
  • Practice consistent and clear decision making to provide the optimal player experience
  • Work effectively in a high energy, fast-paced, team oriented environment
  • Proactively share gained knowledge with team members using the correct communication channels
  • Utilize proprietary and external tools and resources to identify and resolve player inquiries
  • Provide feedback on tools, resources, procedures and guidelines to enhance workflow and the player experience


  • Typing speed of 50 WPM
  • Maintain the required output and quality standards on a consistent basis
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Detail oriented - Comfortable tracking and recording all payment and purchasing data
  • Core gamer with a PC/Console Online Multiplayer gaming background
  • Education - High School or GED (required), any college experience is a plus
  • Open availability/schedule - 40 hours/wk, 4 day 10 hour shift model
  • Baseline understanding of the Google Office Suite (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Drive, etc.)
