We're looking for a Localization QA Test Lead in Tokyo area (Kudanshita) to join our team.
The Test Lead reports directly to the Test PM and is responsible for running and overseeing all project specific QA activities.
Although his/her duties may slightly vary depending on project requirements they would usually include the following:
Planning and tracking all testing tasks under the responsibility of the localization test team.
Assigning tasks to the testers on a daily basis.
Supporting the test team on all matters related to the project and its coverage.
Monitoring of team performance as a whole.
Reviewing of bug reports and individual coaching geared towards constantly improving the
quality of the team’s bug logging activities.
Maintenance of the bug database to ensure that global or functional errors are promptly
Creation of regular status reports for the project stakeholders (e.g. daily, weekly).
Identifying and communicating threats to the planned testing coverage (blocking issues,
workflow problems, wrong time estimates, etc.).
Escalating all relevant issues to the appropriate project stakeholders.
Acting as main point of contact for the customer on all day-to-day project operations and
Preparation and maintenance of the test kit as a whole but more particularly of test cases, build
management processes, tools, reference documentation and debug information.
Being the main interface between team, customer and PM the Test Lead will have strong
More than 1 year experience of LQA testing.
Meeting the required level of Performance review.
Outstanding communication skills.
Business level of specific languages for customer communication.
Commuting allowance up to 30,000 JPY
