Keywords is hiring a seasoned Program Manager who can take care of both people management and project management responsibilities. This position is a key component of the day to day delivery of Keywords Quality Assurance and Technical support projects and is required to be on the client site in Burnaby BC.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, foster and maintain effective working relationships Management of current Project Managers, workload distribution, training and mentoring
  • Scheduling tasks, delivery tracking, coordination of project meetings, day to day client communication, team management and creating reports for clients
  • Develop/Automate processes for efficiencies
  • Utilizing relationships with key business clients to identify and act on future growth opportunities outside of the scope of the existing projects
  • Identify/create potential managed service opportunities and/or address project subject matters
  • Interface with clients as required, gather/update requirements for new/existing projects
  • Drive the program/projects from initiation through delivery (ensure all delivery KPI measures are met)
  • Work with management to analyze program proposals and program objectives, assist in managing and supporting the client’s renewal process, managing status updates to ensure the process moves forward
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) including the creation of QBR documentation derived from fact finding, data gathering and financial planning
  • Provide status reports to management/client as requested (ad hoc and planned)
  • Providing Mid-year and yearly performance reviews
  • Managing the recruitment of new hires including the screening and interviewing of candidates
  • Work within HR standards and develop best practices for you and your team
  • Previous Contract, Program, Project and Employee Management experience is required (Industry experience – Minimum of 5 years and must have managed a team of 7+ while supporting their own projects)
    • Workload distribution, management of projects, managing employee relations, training and mentoring
    • People Management
    • Performance Reviews (mid and yearly)
  • This individual must have prior experience in judging and substantiating that all project deliverables have been met
  • The candidate must be an effective team communicator, problem-solver and able to work under little to no supervision
  • This individual must have strong leadership and relationship building skills to create, reinforce, motivate and guide project managers and partners
  • Customer interface experience is a must.
  • Previous experience performing a market analysis for project renewal
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Previous experience with QBR presentation creation and delivery
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment
  • Passion for Games
  • Solid knowledge of Co-Employment
  • Understanding of BC laws is a plus
  • Previous Vendor Management exp. is a plus
