Pride Month has been a colourful one at Keywords Studios.
Human talent is our most valuable asset and, as a multi-cultural business, we thrive on diversity, celebrate uniqueness and collaborate as a team – whether we are physically together in one of our 65+ studios around the world or working together virtually.
We continually challenge ourselves to ensure that we provide a working environment that treats people with dignity and respect, is free from discrimination and promotes fairness and equal opportunities.
As part of this, celebrating Pride is an annual summer tradition at Keywords. While many parades remained cancelled around the world due to COVID-19 restrictions, the festivities were not forgotten.
We encouraged our teams to show their colours throughout the year and our local HR and studio management teams organised activities in June to raise awareness among Keywordians and beyond.
Here are a few visuals of how we celebrated Pride at Keywords.
The aim to was to help attendees learn about the history of Pride Month in the US, Latin America and around the globe.
Well done all.
Leading By Example
Our management team in Mexico City created this ‘Love Is Love’ video, showing their support to all employees.
Local Awareness Contests
Our studio in Manila organised a contest to create a background for Teams calls.
The winner, Alyzza Jeanne Naguit, said of her creation: “This art shows that different people can celebrate and be united when celebrating Pride Month.”
Kristine Ann Ramirat from our Manila office loves to bake and shared her Pride-inspired cake to show her support.
“I was inspired to make this as a reminder to everyone that no matter what pronoun you use – you are beautiful like a rainbow,” explained Kristine.
Our team in Dublin had a blast during their drag music bingo with Victoria Secret on June 11th.
Ireland’s ‘tallest drag queen’ entertained studio staff with music bingo with a fabulous twist.
Global Support for Pride
Many of our studios around the world changed their logos on websites and social media channels to raise awareness for Pride – here are some examples:
Keywordians worldwide also happily adopted our Pride-themed Teams backgrounds during internal and external video calls throughout the month.
